- I am a Georgia State Student – in my fourth year at State.
- I am from Florida, so Atlanta was new for me my Freshman year.
- I had to find out how to maneuver through Atlanta:
- Where to park
- Places to go
- Places to eat
- What there is to do (Activities & Events – within the city)
MY STORY:
When I first came to State I knew only one person, my roommate and both her and I were new to the city of Atlanta. She was from Georgia, but neither of us were from a big city. We were both from quaint, small cities that were on the map but did not have the same amenities as Atlanta. Think one bowling alley, one skate station, and one mall – that was life in my home town.
So naturally when we arrived we were itching to explore, but neither of us had a car! So I found myself walking along Edgewood until I found somewhere new, something new, and it became familiar to me.
MY GOAL:
This Blog Space is for incoming Freshman who are like me, when I was itching to explore Atlanta with wide eyes of wonder. This is a blog is to give insight on where you can go for a breather, what there is to do for fun, and how you can make the most out of going to Georgia State University.
