The Belt-Line:
The Belt-Line is literally 5 minutes away by car from Georgia State, 25 minutes walking from campus!
The Belt-Line in Atlanta is a trail that wraps around the city, connecting city life experiences with rural greenery so you never miss a thing! When you’re looking for a get away or a new place of zin try Yoga in the Park right next to the Historic Fourth Ward Park!
Get Active, while Going Green!

When you’re hungry walk up the sidewalk to snag a Popsicle from the King of Pops stand and into Ponce City Market for a few eateries with diverse options. If the options are still too limited, just walk outside in the opposite direction and you’ll find yourself with at least three more options to choose from! Are you in the mood for a snack? Try a Tapa! Are you starved? Dine-in anywhere!
Eat, Enjoy the scenery, Absorb natural Vitamin D!
Walk it OFF: If you’re like me, you might’ve indulged too much and now the guilt starts to set in as your stomach fills out your shirt just a bit more than it had an hour earlier. It happens! BUT DON’T FEEL TOO BAD, JUST WALK IT OFF! Or people watch from the sidelines, while riding a bike (RENT a BIKE at the “Atlanta Bicycle Barn“), while sitting on a bench, playing in the playground, or piering over the city on top of Ponce City Market, “Skyline Park”!
